Although this car began its life as a 1970 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior, it has evolved into a pure driving machine. The original 1.3-liter motor has been exchanged for the larger, more potent 2.0-liter variant. The cylinder head was freshly rebuilt in 2016, and paired with rebuilt twin side draft Weber carburetors.
In order to match the motor’s increased performance, the suspension was treated to Spruell springs and sway bars, along with Koni shocks. With these modifications in place, the car drives and handles extremely well, engaging its driver on every journey. Perhaps best of all, it even has working air conditioning.
Despite its beautiful body and ageless tan interior, this is no show car— it’s a classic Italian driver’s car that is meant to be driven, enjoyed, and experienced.
