Although we would be happy to prepare your current racer for the track, the preferred method would be for us to restore a car for you. The reasons for this are as follows:

Over the years, we have seen a great many cars sold in “race ready” condition. Very few actually were. Even if a car is properly done, normally you would sell it at the end of the season, or when you were done racing it. By starting with a car that you know needs to come apart, you eliminate the need to trust a stranger’s work and word.

If you buy a car that is already done, does it fit you? Is it legal for competition in the organization you want to run with? Is it safe? Were all the suspension components crack tested? Is it competitive in its group/class?  We can
rebuild the car to suit you, and the organization you will be running in.

Why pay to restore a car twice? So many times, customers have paid for cars that were “just restored” and ended up having to do it again. If you don’t know who restored your car and when, buyer beware!

We do all the mechanical and fabrication work in house on your car with the exception of engine building. We found it to be much more efficient to work with a couple of well-respected engine builders, and concentrate on the chassis. We can do all forms of welding including nickel bronze, which was the process used originally on most early tube frame race cars. We have a frame table for straightening bent chassis, and a machine shop for fabricating whatever parts are no longer available. We also have excellent paint and upholstery people that we sublet to.

We have been restoring vintage race cars to winning form for almost 25 years. But don’t take our word for it. Click on the references & customer letters tab under “about us” for a sample of our customer's thanks, or click on the thumbnail pics below.
