We have extensive experience with many different types of
sports cars, from Europe and the United States.
With our ability to tap a deep well of experience, not to
mention our fabrication capabilities, we have become a haven
for owners of some pretty unusual sports cars. Our focus
is on cars from the 1970’s and earlier. Whether it
is a common british make, or a limited Italian exotic, we
like to work for car enthusiasts like us. The only later
model cars we do service are Ferraris, which is a specialty
of the company as seen in the thumbnails pictures below
of cars that agSVRC has serviced.

Leading
Ferrari restorations, Andy apprenticed under a Ferrari specialist
in the Washington D.C. area for 8 years after graduating
from the University of Maryland in 1978. There he maintained
cars from several large collections, most notably, Norman
Silver and Dr. Ronald Finger. The owner of the shop also
had his own collection of Ferrari race cars including a
1970 312 B Formula 1 car, the only 712M Can Am car ever
produced, and a 1970 512M endurance prototype.
Some
of the cars worked on during that time included:
275 LM
250 GTO (complete mechanical restoration)
1957 4.9 Superfast ( DeVroon car)
275 Nart Spyder
275 GTB/C
250 SWB competition
250 GT “Breadvan”
500 Superfast
and various other Ferrari “street” cars, both
8 & 12 cylinder.
In
1988, Andy moved to Savannah, Georgia to open his own
race car and restoration shop that continued to maintain
Dr. Fingers’ cars. Andy restored and maintained
Dr. Finger's 275 GTB/ CS which was actively campaigned
in Vintage Racing series for several years. He also maintained
cars for several Ferrari collectors in the Savannah area.
In
1998, Dr. Finger competed in the Mille Miglia Storica
in his 1953 Ferrari 250 MM, which our shop prepared for
the race. In this event, Andy was co-driver and provided
mechanical support, although the car finished with no
mechanical problems at all.
agSVRC
continues to maintain a variety of interesting older Ferraris.
One of our customers’ owns a 1979 308 Ferrari that
